Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Dieme ("we", "us") is a voice diary app for iOS. Your diary is deeply personal, and this policy explains exactly what data we handle, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles, and we show no ads.

How your data is processed

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) at every step. We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.

Who can see your entries

Only you. Entries are tied to your account and protected by database-level access rules; no other user can access them. We do not read your diary except where strictly required to investigate an issue you report to us, and only with your consent.

Data retention and deletion

Your entries are kept until you delete them or your account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children

Dieme is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app.
